- Acute and convalescent serology are two other confirmatory lab tests.
- Common laboratory abnormalities include a lower WBC count as well as a low platelet count.
- Criteria to confirm diagnosis is roughly a four fold increase in antibody titer as well as a positive IgM antibody titer. [1]
