Overview
Secondary prevention of congenital syphilis include adequate treatment of pregnant women with syphilis infection and regular follow up of the infants to examine for re-appearance of late manifestations.
Secondary Prevention
- Regular follow up of infants with congenital syphilis to examine for the re-appearance of signs and symptoms of syphilis after recommended treatment has shown to improve outcomes.[1][2][3]
