Overview
CT abdomen in patients with colitis demonstrates colonic thickening and the presence of periventricular enhancement on a brain CT is suggestive of ventriculoencephalitis.

- CT abdomen in patients with cytomegalovirus colitis demonstrates colonic thickening.[1][2]
- Presence of periventricular enhancement on CT or MRI is highly suggestive of CMV ventriculoencephalitis.[3]
