- Lightweight plastic ankle-foot orthoses
- Long-leg braces
- Power stand-up motorized wheelchairs
- Wrist or hand splints
Exercise
- Gentle aerobic exercise to prevent further muscle atrophy and social isolation.
Multidisciplinary care
- Early diagnosis and management of cardiac, respiratory, behavioral, and nutritional problems.
