Physical examination of patients with endometrial cancer is usually remarkable for vaginal bleeding, pallor, and pedal edema.[1]
General appearance
- Patients with early disease often appear normal.
- Patients with advanced disease may appear lethargic, pale, or confused.
Vital Signs
Vital signs are generally within normal limit, but patients with severe disease may have the following vital signs:
Skin
HEENT
Chest
- Decreased/absent breath sounds
Abdomen
Pelvic exam
- Vaginal bleeding
- Uterus normal size in early stage, uterus is enlarged in advanced stage
