Isopropamide iodide is a long-acting quaternary anticholinergic drug. It is used in the treatment of peptic ulcer and other gastrointestinal disorders marked by hyperacidity and hypermotility. Isopropamide iodide is administered orally. It was discovered at Janssen Pharmaceutica in 1954.
