Overview
Lichor is the fluid surrounding a fetus, measured in volume of amniotic fluid. When compared to the AFI (Amniotic Fluid Index), if the volume is decreased, then uteroplacental insufficiency is indicated. An ultrasound performed at 20 weeks gestation for prenatal screening and diagnosis can discover this.
