Overview
The muscles of the larynx are extrinsic, passing between the larynx and parts around; and intrinsic, confined entirely to the larynx.
The intrinsic muscles are:
- Cricothyreoideus
- Cricoarytænoideus lateralis
- Cricoarytænoideus posterior
- Arytænoideus
- Thyroarytænoideus
