Pseudomonas anguilliseptica is a Gram-negative bacterium that is pathogenic to fish[1]. It was first isolated from Japanese eels (Anguilla japonica). Based on 16S rRNA analysis, P. anguilliseptica has been placed in the P. aeruginosa group[2].
