Overview
Positron emission tomography (PET) scanning and bone scan are usually used for assessment of metastatic lesion in rhabdomyosarcoma. There are no associated findings regarding these studies in rhabdomyosarcoma.
Other Imaging Findings
- There are some other diagnosis methods for rhabdomyosarcoma evaluation:
Positron emission tomography (PET) scanning
- No particular findings associated with rhabdomyosarcom
- Assessment of patient's respond to therapy[1][2]
- Assessment of distant metastases which were unidentified by other imaging studies
Bone Scan
- Assessment of metastases to bones[3]
- Evaluation of whole skeleton
