PET Scan

A PET scan is used to assist in initial staging of the tumor when other tests have been unable to confirm how extensive the tumor is and to find tumor recurrence.

Endoscopy

For salivary gland cancer, an endoscope is inserted into the mouth to look at the mouth, throat, and larynx.
