Overview
There are no other imaging findings associated with tremor. However, positron emission tomography and 123 I-metaiodobenzylguanidine MIBG cardiac scintigraphy have been used to identify tremor of all cause and to detect abnormalities in Parkinson's disease, respectively.
Other Imaging Findings
- Tremors of all forms exhibit cerebellar activation on positron emission tomography studies.[1]
- 123 I-metaiodobenzylguanidine MIBG cardiac scintigraphy may detect abnormalities in Parkinson's disease. [2]
