UW Med Flight

University of Wisconsin Med Flight is an air ambulance service based at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. Med Flight was established in 1985.[1] Med Flight serves patients within a 225-mile radius of Madison.[2]

Fleet

As of 2007 the Med Flight fleet included three Agusta A109E 'Power' helicopters. In July 2007 two new Eurocopter EC 135 helicopters were delivered and will eventually replace two of the A109s.[3] All of the helicopters are operated and maintained by CJ Systems Aviation Group.[4]
