MBBS graduate with honors from Topiwala National Medical College, Mumbai, India, Dr. Charu discovered his interest in pursuing career as a doctor while he was in high school. A zealous lover of biological sciences, he enjoys interacting with people and bring in a change in their lives. He is a Gold medalist from the university and has been awarded international acclaim in the public poster presentation in Malaysia. With clinical experience in India and United States of America, he is a budding Pediatrician and has a deep inclination in learning Global and Academic Medicine. Charu is also the mentor for Elsevier Student Ambassador Program for the inclusive betterment of medical education. Outside of academia and extracurricular activities, he loves to spend his time in cooking gastronomic delights, singing Bollywood songs, and play with his four-legged canine baby. He has several research papers to his credit published in state and national level indexed journals. He is currently working in the research field in Critical Care Medicine at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, California. A social worker, blogger and debater, Charu is the author of a textbook on ‘Pediatrics for Undergraduate Students’, scheduled to be published very soon.
