I am a general Physician in hospital practice and currently Director of Medicine at The Maitland Hospital, Newcastle, Australia. I have an interest in medical education, systems thinking with regards to health management and leadership in health. I have practised in general medicine over the last 15 years in four different countries and hold Fellowships in Internal Medicine from ACP, RCP London, College of Phisicians of South Africa Nd the RACP. I also hold post graduate qualifications in Leadership and management, Critical care, Diabetes Medicine and Medical Education.
