Currently studying Bachelor in Medicine and Bachelor in Surgery (MBBS). Growing up I always felt like this field was my calling, and the passion I have for medicine is a feeling one can only fathom until one actually experiences it for oneself. This field of study truly shows my potential. It is in my nature to want to help people, and thus I believe that this field was best suited for me. As a kid, growing up my biggest mentor and role model was my mum or as everyone else would call her "Dr Pasepa". She was one of the most renowned surgeons in her days. In 2007, she was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer and was called to rest on the 27th of December, 2007. Life did not stop for me when I lost my greatest role model, mentor and my loving mother, but instead it pushed me further and gave me that drive to follow in her footsteps. Thus, here I am today, grinding and hustling to earn that "DR" title in front of my name so that one day I can sit back and proudly say "Look mum, I did! I hope I have made you proud, cause this ones for you!"
