Overview
Patients usually presents with signs of anemia with pale skin, dyspnea, and tachycardia. Growth retardation is seen in children. Other signs include hypothermia, lead line on teeth margins, photosensitivity, petechiae, optic atrophy, ataxia, and incoordination. Hepatosplenomegaly is common patients with iron overload.
