Overview
Blind loop syndrome is a medical condition that occurs when the intestine is obstructed, slowing or stopping the progress of digested food, and thus facilitating the growth of bacteria to the point that problems in nutrient absorption occur.
The other imaging findings that may be useful are Fluoroscopy and Small bowel follow through, where we can visualize any distension of the bowel.
Other Imaging Findings
Fluoroscopy may be used for the diagnosis of blind loop syndrome.
A small bowel follow through may delineate the blind pouch
