Overview
Pseudomyxoma peritonei is a rare malignant tumor characterized by an abundant accumulation of mucinous ascites in viscera of organs and intraperitoneal cavity. Most cases of pseudomyxoma peritonei have no signs or symptoms, however, abdominal tenderness, abdominal distention and hernia may present.
