Kaposi's sarcoma is caused by coinfection with HIV and HHV-8.
Causes
- Kaposi's sarcoma is caused by an infection with HHV-8.[1]
- The term Kaposi's sarcoma associated virus(KHSV) was coined in order to name the viral causes.[2][3]
