  • Loud and chronic snoring with apneas in between
  • Gasping, snorting, or interruptions in breathing while sleeping
  • Excessive day-time sleepiness

Non-specific symtoms include

Symptoms in children

  • Hyperactivity
  • Poor school performance
  • Angry or hostile behavior
  • May breathe through their mouths instead of their noses during the day
