History and Symptoms

Rhabdomyosarcomas usually present as rapidly growing mass. They cause localized pressure effects on neurovascular structures. The symptoms of rhabdomyosarcoma varies depending upon the location of tumor:

Location	Symptoms
Base of the skull (parameningeal), Nasal sinuses or ear	Headache, nasal discharge, sinus congestion
Eyes	Proptosis, swollon eyelid, vision problems
Urinary bladder or prostate	Hematuria
Vagina	Vaginal bleeding
Abdomen or pelvis	Vomiting, constipation, abdominal pain
Neck, back, chest, groin, or limbs	Localized swelling, pain, redness
