Overview
Rhabdomyosarcoma must be differentiated from Ewing sarcoma, Lymphadenopathy, Neuroblastoma, Liposarcoma Osteosarcoma, Lymphoprofilerative disordes. Rhabdomyosarcoma of the orbit must be differentiated from other causes of orbital masses such as orbital pseudotumor, orbital tumors, orbital abscess, and vascular lesions.
Differential Diagnosis
Rhabdomyosarcoma must be differentiated from:
- Ewing sarcoma
- Lymphadenopathy
- Neuroblastoma
- Liposarcoma
- Osteosarcoma
- Lymphoprofilerative disordes
Rhabdomyosarcoma of orbit
Rhabdomyosarcoma of the orbit must be differentiated from other causes of orbital masses such as:[1]
- Orbital pseudotumor
- Orbital abscess
- Dermoid cyst
- Orbital tumors:
- Lymphoma of the orbit
- Lacrimal gland tumor
- Lacrimal duct tumor
- Vasular lesions:
