Follow up after treatment
After treatment, patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma should follow up for prevention of second malignancy. Follow up includes:
- Physical exam
- Nasendoscopy
- CT Scan
- MRI
Scans are done:
- 3-6 months after radiotherapy
- Every 6 months afterwards until 5 years
- Every year after 5 years
