Ultrasound

• Ultrasound may be helpful in the diagnosis of hepatoblastoma.

• Findings on ultrasound suggestive of diagnostic of hepatoblastoma include predominantly echogenic soft tissue mass.

• Well defined lesion and in larger tumors heterogeneity and variable echogenecity is common.

• Intralesional calcifications may be visible as areas of shadowing.
