Overview
Visual impairment may be seen in adiposogenital dystrophy.
Vision Test
Patients may suffer from bitemporal hemianopsia due to compression of the optic chiasm by a pituitary tumor. This can be revealed on visual field tests[1]. Patients may also have vision loss in one eye. Less commonly, patients may have visual impairment in both eyes that can be severe enough to render the patient legally blind[2]. Color vision is often affected in craniopharyngiomas[3].
