History should also include consideration of other medical conditions the patient may have, such as autoimmune diseases, viral infections, hereditary conditions and other conditions that may predispose them towards developing acute liver failure.
Symptoms
- Nausea or vomiting
- Loss of appetite
- Fatigue
- Diarrhea
- Jaundice
- Bleeding easily
- Abdominal distention
- Disorientation or confusion
- Sleepiness, even coma
