Pharmacotherapy
In more severe or complicated infections, antibiotics such as aminoglycosides, doxycycline, trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole, or fluoroquinolones may be useful.

- Yersinia enterocolitica infection (yersiniosis)
- Preferred regimen: TMP-SMX
- Alternative regimen (1): Ciprofloxacin
