Delivery
Delivery is the mainstay of therapy for preeclampsia in the 37 weeks of gestation or occurence of the following:
- Repeated episodes of severe hypertension despite maintenance treatment with 3 classes of antihypertensive agents
- Progressive thrombocytopenia
- Progressively abnormal renal or liver enzyme tests
- Pulmonary edema
- Abnormalneurological features, such as severe intractableheadache, repeated visual scotomata,convulsions
- Nonreassuring fetal status
