Overview
On CT scan, neuroblastoma is characterized by a heterogeneous, calcified, and necrotic mass, that may encase the surrounding vessels or invade the surrounding tissues.[1]
CT scan
- On CT scan, neuroblastoma is characterized by:[1]
- Heterogeneous mass
- Calcification
- Necrosis
- Compression of the surrounding vessels
- Invasion of the psoas muscle or kidneys
- Swollen lymph nodes
