Overview
Laboratory findings consistent with the diagnosis of papillary thyroid cancer include elevated T3, elevated T4, decreased thyroid stimulating hormone, and presence of tumor markers such as thyroglobulin,
Laboratory Findings
Thyroglobulin can be used as a tumor marker for well-differentiated papillary thyroid cancer.[1][2] Reduced expression of ATP5E is significantly associated with the diagnosis of papillary thyroid cancer and may serve as an early tumor marker of the disease.[3]
