Schwannoma must be differentiated from meningioma, intranodal palisaded myofibroblastoma, leiomyoma, gastrointestinal stromal tumor, and malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor (MPNST).

Differential Diagnosis

Schwannoma must be differentiated from:

• Meningioma
• Intranodal palisaded myofibroblastoma
• Leiomyoma
• Gastrointestinal stromal tumor
• Malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor (MPNST)
• Neurofibroma
