Overview
True left ventricular (LV) aneurysm must be differentiated from pseudo aneurysm and LV diverticulum.
Differential diagnosis

- Left ventricular diverticulum is another differential diagnosis of LV aneurysm.[3][4]
- It is defined as an outpouching structure that contains endocardium, myocardium, and pericardium.
- It displays normal contraction and is considered to be congenital.
