Overview

Enterobiasis must be differentiated from other diseases causing pruritis ani and the nematode infections.

Differentiating Enterobiasis from other diseases

Causes Suggestive findings Diagnostic approach Treatment Anorectal Disorders Inflammatory bowel disease Abdominal pain. Diarrhea (secretory, mucoid,or bloody). Weight loss. Perianal pruritis.
