A clinical diagnosis of choriomnionitis is defined by fever>38.0 c and any of the following findings:

• Abdominal pain
• Uterine tenderness.
• Foul vagina discharge.
• Maternal tachycardia>100 beats/min.
• Persistent fetal tachycardia>160 beats/min.
• White blood cell count >15000 cells/mm².
