A clinical diagnosis of choriomnionitis is defined by fever>38.0 c and any of the following findings:
- Abdominal pain
- Uterine tenderness.
- Foul vagina discharge.
- Maternal tachycardia>100 beats/min.
- Persistent fetal tachycardia>160 beats/min.
- White blood cell count >15000 cells/mm².
