CT scan may be helpful in the diagnosis of tuberculous pericarditis. Findings on CT scan suggestive of tuberculous pericarditis include:[1]
- Calcification of the pericardium
- Thickened pericardium
- Pericardial effusion
- Back flow of blood into the IVC and hepatic veins (in contrast CT scan)
