Contrast Computerized tomography CT is moderately sensitive to Choledocholithiasis with a sensitivity of 65-88%, while CT cholangiography with biliary excreted contrast agents are highly sensitive and specific with 88-96% and 88-98%, respectively.

Contrast CT is moderately sensitive to Choledocholithiasis with a sensitivity of 65-88%, while CT cholangiography with biliary excreted contrast agents are highly sensitive and specific with 88-96% and 88-98%, respectively.
- In CT cholangiography, the obstruction of the common bile duct diminishes the flow of contrast agent. Contrast agents used for imaging studies can be complications with an allergic reaction or kidney damage.
