Characteristic findings include:
- Increase in aortic diameter
- Shift of calcification on the aortic wall
CT scans can efficiently assess:
- A dissection
- Size of aneurysm
- Mural thrombus
- Intramural hematoma
- A rupture (free and/or contained with a hematoma)
