Overview

Laboratory Tests

  • CBC
  • Liver function tests

Liver function tests include checking for serum levels of lactate dehydrogenase, gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase, alkaline phosphatase, and glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase. These tests can be elevated in uveal melanoma that has metastasized to the liver.
