History

• Positive history of radiation exposure as a child to head and neck
• Family history of thyroid cancer
• positive history of benign thyroid disorders

Common Symptoms

• Papillary thyroid cancer are most often asymptomatic.

Less Common Symptoms

• Some patients may develop large mass which may show compressive symptoms such as following:

• Swallowing difficulty
• Shortness of breath
• Hoarseness of voice
