Overview
There is currently no antiviral treatment for Zika virus. Suggested therapy includes rest, fluids antipyretics and analgesics. NSAIDs should be avoided until dengue fever is ruled out as a potential diagnosis.

- There is currently no specific antiviral treatment for the Zika virus.
- Modern therapy tactics include increased rest, fluids, antipyretics and analgesics.
- Acetyldslicylic acid and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) should be avoided until infection from other flaviviruses are no longer a potential diagnosis.[1]
