Overview
There is no direct test to diagnose ankylosing spondylitis, however there is an increase of C-reactive protein (CRP) and an increase in the erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR).
Laboratory Findings
Increase in:
- C-reactive protein (CRP) and
- Erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR).
