- Gender: Females are more at risk of developing insulinoma than males.
- Age: People who are in the age range of 40-60 years.
- Genetics: persons with family history of pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors are at higher risk of developing insulinomas. [1]
Less Common Risk Factors
Less common risk factors in the development of insulinoma include:
- Von Hippel-Lindau disease
