MRI

• MRI may be helpful in the diagnosis of colon polyps. It might detect polyps greater than 5 millimeters in diameter.
• Different MRI modalities might be used including:
  • Diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (DWI)
  • MRI colonography
