  • Hairy cell leukemia must also be differentiated from other causes of fever, splenomegaly, and fatigue such as:[2][3]
  • Aplastic anemia
  • Myelodysplastic syndrome
  • Splenic marginal zone lymphoma
  • B-cell prolymphocytic leukemia
  • Idiopathic myelofibrosis
