Common Causes

• Normal aging
• Depression
• Anxiety
• Psychogenic following an emotionally traumatic incident.
• Head Trauma can cause post traumatic amnesia.
• Neurological disorder: Alzheimer's disease, Pick's disease, Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease
• Prolonged trauma or childhood sexual abuse can cause dissociative fugue.
