Overview

Oesophagostomum is part of the phylum Nematoda. This phylum is composed of five orders: Ascaridida, Enoplida, Oxyurida, Spirurida, Strongylida, and Rhabditida. Strongylida has three superfamilies: Ancyclostomatoidea, Trichostrongyloidea, andStrongylidea. Oesophagostomum lie within the Strongyloidae.
