Overview
The hallmark of endometrial cancer is abnormal vaginal bleeding. A positive history of Bleeding between normal periods in premenopausal women and vaginal bleeding and/or spotting in postmenopausal women is suggestive of endometrial cancer.
History and Symptoms
- Early symptoms
- Abnormal vaginal bleeding, abnormal menstrual periods
- Bleeding between normal periods in premenopausal women
- Vaginal bleeding and/or spotting in postmenopausal women
- As the tumor grows larger, patient may notice one or more of the following symptoms:
- Trouble urinating
- Pelvic pain and pain during intercourse
- Fatigue and unexplained weight loss
