Ultrasound
- An endoscopic ultrasound has a sensitivity of 40-93% (depending on the location of the tumor) for detecting insulinomas.[1]
- Endoscopic ultrasound can be used in the preoperative assessment of patients with hypoglycemia and serum hyperinsulinemia.[2]
