Overview
Symptoms of uveal melanoma include eye pain, eye redness, loss of peripheral vision, poor or blurry vision in one eye, a dark spot on the iris, seeing flashing lights, floaters, and symptoms of glaucoma.
History
Symptoms
Uveal melanoma usually does not cause symptoms. Many cases of uveal melanoma are found during routine eye examination. If symptoms are present they may include:
- Eye pain
- Eye redness
- Loss of peripheral vision
- Poor or blurry vision in one eye
- A dark spot on the iris
- Seeing flashing lights
- Floaters
- Symptoms of glaucoma
- Severe headache
- Nausea and vomiting
- Blurred vision
- Halos around lights
